D-Sub IDC Plug for 20-22 AWG — No Crimp Tool Needed
The male pins are gold flash over phosphor bronze, rated for signal-level current that varies with wire gauge.
Wiring and Termination — IDC Saves the Crimp Changeover
This plug terminates via IDC — the wire is pressed into insulation-displacement slots, so you skip the crimp applicator changeover. The slot geometry is sized for 20-22 AWG; straying outside that range risks poor contact or insulation damage. The free-hanging (in-line) mount mates with a panel-mount or cable-mount D-sub receptacle with the DE-9 shell layout. The unthreaded flange accepts standard D-sub hardware (slide locks or jackscrews) for retention.
