Contact identity and system fit
The crimp termination accepts 22-26 AWG stranded wire, a common range for signal and low-power circuits in harness assemblies. The stamped brass body with gold plating gives a reliable gas-tight crimp joint when used with the correct TE application tooling. For a harness builder, this means the contact is suited for automated crimp presses as well as field-service hand tools, provided the die set matches the wire gauge.
Packaging for the line
The reel format keeps the line running without manual loading stops — a practical consideration for high-volume harness production where per-part handling cost adds up.
