Stamped Socket Contact for Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK Housings
It is a crimp-terminated, loose-piece contact designed for field or harness-bench installation into the matching nylon housings of this series. The contact accepts 22-26 AWG wire and carries a 30.0µin (0.76µm) gold finish over a phosphor bronze base — a plating grade that handles repeated mating cycles and resists corrosion in environments where the connector may be unmated and re-mated during service.
Rated for 22-26 AWG stranded wire, this socket uses a standard crimp termination. The stamped contact body gives a consistent barrel crimp profile when used with the correct TE application tooling. The gold finish on the mating end, combined with the phosphor bronze spring beam, maintains contact normal force over the wire range without taking a set.
This is a socket contact — it mates with the pin contacts used in the Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK plug and receptacle housings. It supports the mating cycle life expected in harnesses that see periodic disconnect for equipment service or reconfiguration.
