Sizing this plug for a 3.50mm terminal block line
The 1-796693-0: This is a 10-position plug, female sockets, from the Termi-Blok, Buchanan series — mates with the matching 3.50mm pitch header. The screw - rising cage clamp termination accepts 14-30 AWG (0.3-2mm²) wire with a 5-6mm strip length and a torque spec of 0.31 Nm (2.7 Lb-In). Housing is blue polyamide (PA66), rated UL94 V-0 for flammability.
Wire entry is 180° (straight), with a single level of positions. The rising cage clamp lifts the wire against the conductor — no wire ferrule required, but a stripped solid or stranded conductor seats reliably. Screw size is M2; torque it to 0.31 Nm. Side stacking feature allows multiple plugs to be ganged side-by-side on the same header row.
