Terminal block for power distribution on the PCB
The 1-796949-8 is an 18-position Buchanan terminal block from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, designed for wire-to-board power connections at 0.200" (5.08 mm) pitch. Rated 17.5 A per position at 300 V, it handles moderate power loads for industrial control panels, HVAC equipment, and power supplies. The screw rising cage clamp accepts 12-30 AWG wire, allowing field wiring without special crimp tools.

Side interlocking lets you snap multiple blocks together into a continuous row, reducing panel space and simplifying wiring. The M3 screw requires 0.79 Nm (7.0 Lb-In) torque, and the brass clamp and screw are nickel-plated for corrosion resistance.
