22-Position Receptacle Housing for Automotive Harnesses
The housing is molded from natural PBT — a material chosen for its resistance to underhood temperatures and common automotive fluids — and accepts the standard Junior Power Timer female socket contacts, which are ordered separately.
Pitch and Row Spacing for Wire Routing
The 5.00 mm pitch between positions in each row and the 5.60 mm row spacing set the overall width of the housing at roughly 27 mm across the dual rows. This spacing is generous enough to route 1.5 mm² to 2.5 mm² power wires without the insulation crowding at the back of the cavity. The dual-row layout keeps the connector compact for a 22-circuit harness while still allowing the crimp terminals to seat fully with an audible click from the primary latch.
The mating female socket terminals are the standard Junior Power Timer crimp contacts, available in tin or gold plating depending on the required mating cycle count and environmental exposure. For a typical harness build, order one terminal per cavity plus 5-10% spares for the crimp press setup.
