24-Position Dual-Row Receptacle Housing for AMPMODU Mod IV
Pitch and Row Spacing — Standard 0.100" Grid
Both the contact-to-contact pitch and the row-to-row spacing are 0.100" (2.54mm). The dual-row layout gives 24 circuits in a compact footprint — 12 per row — while keeping the overall width manageable for harness routing.
This is a housing-only part; the crimp contacts are not included. The 102387-5 accepts standard AMPMODU Mod IV female socket crimp terminals (such as the 1-87175-0 or 1-87175-1 series, depending on wire gauge). The crimp termination allows field-replaceable contacts and wire-to-wire or wire-to-board connections. The polarizing key ensures the housing can only be mated in the correct orientation, which is helpful in multi-position harnesses where reversed connections would cause a short.
Mating — What It Connects To
Typical mating headers include the 1-826629-0 series (straight, 24-position) or right-angle variants. The free-hanging housing is often used for wire-to-board connections where the header is board-mounted. The polarizing key aligns with the header's key slot, so a mismatched orientation won't seat.
