40-Position AMPMODU Mod IV Receptacle Housing
This is the highest-position-count member of the standard dual-row Mod IV housing family, suited for dense wire-to-board or wire-to-wire harnesses where 40 signal or low-power circuits need to break at one connector.
Polarizing Key and Mis-Mate Protection
The polarizing key is a molded feature in the housing that allows the receptacle to mate only with a header that has the corresponding key slot.
Contact and Termination Note
The housing accepts AMPMODU Mod IV female socket crimp contacts, which are ordered separately by their own part number. The crimp termination allows field-termination of individual wires before loading into the housing — standard practice for harness assembly.
That wide range covers most industrial cabinet and automotive interior environments, though the connector is not sealed — it relies on the housing shell for environmental protection, not an IP gasket.
