The 102398-6: The closed-end housing means the IDC slots stop short of the back wall, so no wire end pokes through to short against the panel or another bundle. It accepts 22-26 AWG wire, which covers the common signal wire sizes used in control cabinets and peripheral I/O harnesses.
Mating and Termination
The IDC termination lets you gang-terminate all 16 conductors in one press stroke, which saves time on a repetitive harness build. No crimp tool needed on site; just a hand press or arbor press with the correct IDC die. The black housing and closed end give you a clean termination that won't snag on cable ties or enclosure edges.
