Five-Position Housing for the AMPMODU MTE System
What the 0.100" Pitch Means for Your Harness
At 5 positions, the housing body is about 0.5" wide, which fits a single-row footprint on the board. The pitch also determines the wire-to-wire centerline if you build a daisy-chain harness; keep the wire bundle within the housing width to avoid strain on the outer cavities.
You need the matching AMPMODU MTE female crimp socket terminals (TE part number 1-87456-0 or similar, depending on wire gauge) to populate the 5 cavities. The crimp termination gives you a field-reliable connection for 22-26 AWG stranded wire, and the housing's primary latch locks the terminal in place. Without the separate terminal order, the BOM is incomplete.
