Ribbon IDC Plug — Pin-One Locked
The 103946-1: The closed-end housing blocks the last position, so you can't accidentally offset the ribbon by one conductor — watch pin-one every press, because this connector forces it.
IDC Termination — One Press, No Stripping
The 0.100" pitch has to match the ribbon conductor spacing exactly; a pitch mismatch slices between conductors and scraps the cable. The free-hanging (in-line) mount lets this plug sit as a cable-end connector, mated to a board-mounted header or another in-line receptacle.
Mating Half and Wire Prep
This plug mates with AMPMODU MTE receptacles that accept the same 0.100" pitch — typically a board-mount header or an in-line receptacle housing with female socket contacts. Wire gauge range is 22-26 AWG for the ribbon cable; the IDC slot dimensions match standard 0.050" conductor-centre ribbon. The black closed-end housing gives a visual and mechanical key — the blocked position marks pin-one on the cable end.
