IDC Receptacle for Discrete or Ribbon Cable
The TE 103957-2 is a 3-position AMPMODU MTE IDC receptacle, designed for mass-termination to discrete or ribbon cable. It uses a single-row, 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch layout and terminates 22-26 AWG wire without stripping or crimping — the insulation is displaced by the contact tines as the cover is pressed down.
This receptacle accepts 22-26 AWG discrete wire or ribbon cable. A standard IDC hand tool or arbor press works; the closed-end feature means the cable stops at the back of the slot, so wire insertion depth is self-limiting. The free-hanging (in-line) mounting suits harness assemblies where the connector floats rather than being panel- or board-mounted.
