RF interconnect field note
The gold-plated stainless steel body and beryllium copper centre contact with gold plating give it the corrosion resistance and conductivity needed for repeated RF connections. The PTFE dielectric holds the impedance steady across the band. Solder cup termination on the centre pin — the installer tins the wire and fills the cup, no crimp tool needed.
The 1053111-1 is listed as Obsolete by TE Connectivity. No official successor order code appears on record.
The 335 V rating is the breakdown limit between centre and outer conductor at sea level; in a 50 Ohm system the signal voltage is typically millivolts. The threaded fastening and bulkhead front-side nut mount give a vibration-resistant panel installation — the lockwasher included in the kit keeps the nut from backing off.
