The housing is molded in black polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), a material that holds up in moderate-temperature environments and resists common solvents and greases found on a shop floor.
The one thing you need to know before ordering
Ordering the housing without the terminals leaves you with an empty shell that cannot be wired. Stock both halves or neither.
The plug mates with a matching.025 series header (typically a 3-position, 2.50 mm pitch pin header). The free-hanging design means no panel cutout or board mount is needed — the connector floats in the harness, which is useful for service loops and field replacements where the connector needs to be unplugged and reconnected repeatedly.
