IDC Termination for Discrete-Wire PCB Connections
The 1339376-1: This eliminates the need for separate crimp contacts — the wire insulation is pierced by the IDC slot as the cover is pressed down, making it a fast, repeatable termination for low-to-medium volume harness builds.
The single-entry feature means each wire is loaded into its own channel, not daisy-chained, which keeps the termination sequence clean on a harness board. Termination is done with a simple hand press or an arbor press; no special tooling beyond the Pivot II IDC die is required.
The through-hole tails provide a solid mechanical anchor compared to an SMT version, important when the IDC insertion force is applied during harness assembly.
