Battery-Pack Receptacle for Portable Power
It accepts female blade sockets and uses a push-pull fastening system with a keyless interface — no polarisation key to line up, which speeds assembly but means the mating half must be mechanically located by the pack housing. The 5.00 mm pitch is wide enough to handle the current a multi-cell Li-ion string draws, and the 50 V rating covers typical 3- to 7-series cell stacks. The single-row layout keeps the footprint narrow for edge-of-board placement. Termination is surface-mount solder, so the receptacle reflows alongside other SMT components on the battery management PCB.

At 5.00 mm pitch, the 146845-1 gives the board designer generous routing channels between pads — no need for via-in-pad or fine-line traces even with a two-layer BMS board. The surface-mount solder tails are on a single row, so the keep-out zone is minimal: the connector body and the solder pads, plus a small clearance for the push-pull latch. The black PPA housing provides visual contrast against the solder mask for automated optical inspection.
