3-Position IDC Receptacle for Discrete Wire Harnesses
This is not a ribbon-cable IDC — each wire is pressed individually into a slot in the housing, which makes it a field-serviceable option for low-volume harness builds where a crimp tool is not available. The housing uses blade pin contacts — unusual for a receptacle, which typically carries female sockets. This means the mating connector must accept a blade pin, not a standard socket. Dual wire exit allows the cable bundle to exit from either side of the housing, simplifying harness routing in tight enclosures.
IDC Termination — Discrete Wire Only
The IDC termination accepts discrete wires. The free-hanging mounting means this connector terminates a cable end that mates with a panel-mount or through-hole header.
