Mark II IDC Plug for Discrete Wire Harnesses
IDC Termination and Wire Routing
IDC termination means the wire is pressed into insulation-displacement slots, not crimped — no loose terminals to handle, no secondary crimp tool. This speeds harness assembly for discrete wire runs where the conductor count is low (4 circuits here) and the wire type is solid or standard-stranded. The tab contacts are on the plug side, so the mating receptacle carries the sockets.
