The TE Connectivity 1546310-4 is a 4-circuit Buchanan barrier strip with a 0.563" (14.30mm) pitch, built for power distribution in control panels, industrial machinery, and HVAC equipment. The dual-wall (2 Wall) barrier design isolates each terminal position, preventing accidental shorting between adjacent circuits when a stripped wire overhangs the screw head. The 30A per circuit rating at 300V covers motor branch circuits, heater loads, and main power feeds inside an enclosure. The flange on each end provides a bolt-down mounting point for chassis or panel attachment — no DIN rail adapter needed.
The 30A current rating is the maximum per circuit at the rated temperature rise; the 10-22 AWG wire range means this block can terminate a 10 AWG feeder on one side and a 22 AWG control wire on the other — useful for tapping a high-current bus down to a lower-current load. The 0.563" pitch gives enough creepage distance for the 300V rating without forcing an oversized panel footprint.
Top termination uses steel screws with a nickel finish — the screw head clamps the wire directly against the current bar. The bottom termination is closed, meaning there is no through-hole or stud on the underside; all connections are made from the top side. The block mounts to a chassis or panel via the flange holes. The 8 wire entries (2 per circuit, one on each side of the barrier) allow daisy-chaining or looping a common feed through the block.
