The TE Connectivity Buchanan 1546671-6 is a 6-circuit barrier strip with a 0.437" (11.10mm) pitch, rated 25A at 300V. It accepts 14-22 AWG wire on each of its 12 wire entries (two per circuit, one on each side of the barrier). The dual-wall (2 Wall) barriers isolate each terminal position, preventing accidental bridging between adjacent circuits — a common failure point in high-density wiring. Screw termination on top, closed bottom: no feed-through, so it terminates the wire at the block itself. The flange lets you bolt this directly to a chassis or panel — no PCB required.
Sizing the wire and the termination
Wire range is 14-22 AWG — covers standard power and control wiring in panel builds. The screw terminals use steel screws with nickel finish. Tighten to the torque spec in the product drawing; the nickel finish resists corrosion in humid cabinet conditions. The closed bottom keeps wire strands from poking through the back of the block — important when the block is mounted flush to a panel.
