4-Circuit Barrier Block, 0.325" Pitch, 15A — TE Buchanan 1546927-4
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 1546927-4 is a 4-circuit barrier strip terminal block with a 0.325" (8.26mm) pitch, designed for through-hole PCB mounting. It accepts 14-22 AWG wire and is rated 15A at 300V. The three-wall (tri) barrier design isolates each circuit, reducing the risk of wire-to-wire shorts in panel wiring. Top termination uses screws with captive plates, so the pressure plate stays with the screw during wiring; the bottom terminates with PC pins that solder into the board.
The 15A per-circuit rating is the maximum continuous current each position can carry at the rated temperature rise — sized for branch circuits in control panels, not for main bus feeds. The 300V voltage rating covers most industrial control voltages (120/208/240/277 VAC) and low-voltage DC rails. The 14-22 AWG wire range covers the common stranded building wire sizes used in panel wiring; the captive-plate screw termination provides a gas-tight connection without needing a separate ring or fork terminal. The 0.325" pitch gives enough spacing between adjacent circuits to maintain the 300V creepage without forcing an overly wide board footprint.
