Sabre 43160 3-Position Power Header
What the Ratings Mean for Fit
The 18 A per circuit is the per-blade current limit at the rated temperature rise — sized for the main power rail, not a signal line. The 7.50 mm pitch gives enough creepage for the 600 V rating without forcing an oversized board footprint. The tin contact finish (60.0 µin) is a workhorse choice: it handles a few dozen mating cycles reliably, but if your application cycles the connector frequently or runs in a corrosive environment, you would step up to a gold-plated sibling in the same series.
How It Compares to the 5-Position Sibling
The 431600105 is the 5-position version of the same header — identical pitch (7.50 mm), current (18 A), voltage (600 V), tin plating, board lock, and through-hole termination. The only difference is the position count: 3 positions here against 5 on the 431600105. If your BOM calls for 3 circuits, the 431604303 is the direct fit; the 5-position sibling would leave two unpopulated pads and waste board space.
