Insulated pin terminal for 10-12 AWG
The 160404-2 is a PIDG-series wire pin terminal from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, accepting 10-12 AWG (6.0~4.0mm²) stranded wire. The tin-plated copper pin measures 0.110" (2.79mm) diameter with a 0.598" (15.19mm) pin length. Yellow PVC insulation covers the crimp barrel; the serrated termination grips the conductor on crimp. Overall length is 1.319" (33.50mm) with a 0.720" (18.30mm) termination length.
Crimp-fit and insulation diameter
The insulation barrel accepts wire insulation up to 0.248" (6.30mm) diameter. The serrated inner barrel bites into the conductor strands during crimp — the pull-off force depends on the crimp tool die selection for 10-12 AWG.
