40-Position MICTOR Receptacle for Mezzanine Stacking
The TE Connectivity MICTOR 1658012-1 is a 40-position receptacle with center strip contacts, designed for board-to-board mezzanine applications where signal density and controlled impedance matter. At a 0.031" (0.80 mm) pitch, it packs 40 circuits into a compact footprint, with two rows of contacts on 0.80 mm centers. The surface-mount termination suits automated assembly, and the gold contact finish (10.0 µin) provides reliable mating over repeated cycles.
Stacking Height Flexibility
The 1658012-1 supports nine mated stacking heights: 5 mm, 8 mm, 11 mm, 14 mm, 16 mm, 19 mm, 22 mm, 25 mm, and 30 mm. This range lets the designer choose the board spacing that fits the enclosure or thermal budget — from tight 5 mm sandwich builds to 30 mm stacks with room for component clearance between boards. The height above the board itself is 0.128" (3.25 mm).
