Stamped Pin Contact for AMPLIMITE HDP-20 D-Sub Connectors
It is the male half of the connection, mating with the corresponding AMPLIMITE HDP-20 socket contacts used in standard D-subminiature connector housings. The gold flash finish provides corrosion resistance suitable for moderate mating cycle applications in signal-level interconnects.
This contact accepts 20-24 AWG wire. The stamped brass construction delivers adequate conductivity for the HDP-20 system. Crimp termination requires the proper TE tooling.
Plating and Mating Cycle Consideration
The gold flash finish is adequate for occasional mating and unmating in field-service or test applications. For high-cycle-count or corrosive environments, consider selective gold or full gold-plated variants.
