D-Sub Receptacle Housing for Field Wiring and Panel Mount
The 2-row layout matches the standard 9-pin D-sub footprint, making it a direct mate for any DE-size D-sub plug. The steel shell carries a tin plating with 200µin (5.08µm) finish, providing EMI/RFI shielding for signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The unthreaded housing/flange means panel retention relies on a separate jack-screw or slide-lock hardware — not included — so plan for that in the assembly BOM.
Shielded Construction and Panel Fit
The steel shell with tin plating and 200µin finish is the primary EMI barrier. For a shielded cable assembly, the backshell or hood must bond to this shell to complete the shield path. The DE-1 shell size is the standard for 9-position D-subs, so any DE-size backshell, hood, or strain relief will fit this housing.
