25-Position Shielded D-Sub Plug Housing
It accepts male crimp contacts and mounts free-hanging (in-line) for cable-to-panel or cable-to-cable harness assemblies. The housing is glass-filled nylon (PA) with an unthreaded flange for panel mounting with standard D-sub hardware — jack-screws or slide-locks are added separately per the assembly drawing.
Both share the DB-25 shell size, the same 200 µin tin-plated steel shell, and the same grounding indent feature — the pair forms a shielded in-line D-sub interconnect. The buyer must order the appropriate male crimp contacts separately — typically the AMPLIMITE HDP-20 signal contacts (0.100-inch pitch) for 20-24 AWG wire. The housing has no pre-installed pins; the harness builder selects the contact plating (gold or tin) based on the mating cycle and environmental requirements of the application.
