The 170037-2 is a non-insulated female quick-disconnect receptacle in TE's Faston series, accepting a 0.187" (4.75mm) wide by 0.020" (0.51mm) thick male tab. Tin-plated brass contact material suits moderate-cycle applications where corrosion resistance at the crimp joint is the primary concern, not repeated mating cycles.

Crimp termination accepts 16-20 AWG stranded wire with an insulation diameter range of 0.090" to 0.130" (2.29mm to 3.30mm). Free-hanging in-line mounting — no housing required for basic use, though the tab interface mates with any standard 0.187" Faston male terminal.
