Faston 0.187" female terminal — 16-20 AWG
The 170037-4 is a non-insulated female quick-disconnect terminal in TE's Faston series, accepting 0.187" (4.75mm) tab width and 0.020" (0.51mm) tab thickness. It crimps onto 16-20 AWG wire and hangs free in-line — no mounting hardware needed. Phosphor bronze base with a tin contact finish keeps the connection stable under repeated mate/unmate cycles typical of power and signal disconnects.
Tab width and wire range — how it fits the line
The 170037-4 sits at the 0.187" tab width in the Faston family, handling 16-20 AWG. The Utilux-series 1-1659250-0 and 1-1627194-4 share the same non-insulated free-hanging format but use a wider 0.248" and 0.250" tab respectively, with thicker 0.031" and 0.032" tabs — they accept a narrower wire range (17-20 AWG and 15-18 AWG) and are built on brass rather than phosphor bronze. The PIDG-insulated 1377175-8 covers 14-16 AWG on a 0.312" tab with a non-mating-end insulation sleeve, which adds strain relief at the crimp but changes the installed diameter.
