Flag QC for tight wire routing
The 170140-1 is a non-insulated female flag receptacle in the TE Faston series, terminated by crimp to 16-20 AWG wire and mounted free-hanging at a right angle. It accepts a 0.187" (4.75 mm) tab with 0.020" (0.51 mm) thickness; the brass contact suits moderate-cycle applications where tin plating is not required.
Wire range and insulation fit
The crimp barrel accepts 16-20 AWG stranded wire with an insulation diameter from 0.110" to 0.170" (2.79 mm to 4.32 mm). The right-angle flag orientation routes the wire parallel to the tab plane, saving space in tight panel layouts compared to a straight inline receptacle.
