Position Layout and Mating Half

The drawer connector style mates with a corresponding panel-mount or board-mount header in the Blindmate series — the guide pin ensures the two halves align before the contacts engage, which is critical when the connector is hidden behind a panel or in a slide-out chassis. Because the housing accepts male pins, the mating half will be a receptacle housing with female terminals.
