The housing is glass-filled PA46 rated for wave-solder assembly, and the gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts (6.00 µin plating) handle repeated mating cycles common in panel-mount applications. Green and yellow LED indicators provide link and activity status directly on the connector face, eliminating a separate indicator board.
Board Lock and Tab Orientation
A board lock on the through-hole tails anchors the jack during solder and resists shear force from repeated cable insertion and removal — a practical advantage when the jack lives on a panel edge where strain lands on the solder joints. The tab direction is user-selectable, so the same part can be oriented to match the cable exit angle without stocking multiple variants.
