2.00 mm IDC Receptacle for Discrete Wire Harnesses
Tin-plated female sockets keep per-contact resistance stable for low-cycle, cost-sensitive harness builds. Free-hanging (in-line) mounting lets the connector float in the harness, absorbing cable strain without a board anchor. The natural colour housing is the standard CT series moulding colour, no keying or colour-coding variant.
IDC Termination — No Stripping, No Crimp Tooling
IDC termination pierces the wire insulation as the contact is pressed into the housing slot, making gas-tight connection to the conductor. This eliminates the need for a separate crimp tool and wire stripper — a single hand-press or automated IDC tool seats all contacts simultaneously. The 26-28 AWG range is narrow; verify your wire diameter fits the slot width before committing the BOM.
