Termination & assembly
The 176774-1 is a 3-position female receptacle housing in TE's Faston series, designed for 0.250" (6.35mm) quick-connect tab terminals. Contacts are not included — specify the matching 0.250" quick-connect crimp terminal separately. The housing is natural nylon, free hanging (in-line), and supports multiple stacking directions. Rated for 0.250" quick-connect tabs.
Series & positions
Within the Faston / Fastin-Faston family, the 176774-1's 3 positions contrast with the 6 positions of the 1-171433-5 (male tab housing, green) and the 1-171432-5 (female receptacle housing, green, panel mount). The 1-1627127-0 is a single-position Utilux-series housing. All accept 0.250" quick-connect terminals, so the position count drives the circuit count in the harness.
