5.00 mm Pitch, 4-Position PCB Terminal Block with Push-In Spring Clamp
It mounts vertically with the board — wire entry is top-facing, perpendicular to the PCB. The green polyamide (PA66) housing is the standard color for industrial terminal blocks, aiding field identification in panel builds. This is an active-production member of the Buchanan series, a long-running TE family for board-level wire termination.
Screwless Push-In Termination — No Tool Needed for Solid Wire
The defining feature here is the screwless leg spring, push-in termination. Strip the wire, push it into the clamp opening — the spring leg grips the conductor and holds it against the current bar. No screwdriver, no torque spec, no risk of backing out under vibration. For solid or ferruled stranded wire in the 14-22 AWG range, this is faster to terminate than a screw clamp and more repeatable on a production line. The clamp material is steel, stainless; the contact material is brass with nickel tin plating — adequate for the 10 A rating in dry indoor environments.
Rated 10 A and 300 V, this block handles typical panel power distribution — control transformers, power supplies, motor starters — where each circuit carries a few amps at line voltage.
No end-of-life notice on record.
