The side-entry wire orientation (horizontal with board) keeps the assembly low-profile, useful when the enclosure lid sits close above the PCB.
Wire termination is screw-driven with a leaf spring and wire guard — the spring clamps the conductor against the current bar, not the screw tip directly, so stranded wire doesn't get mangled. Accepts 18 to 26 AWG. The M2.6 screw gets torqued to 0.28 Nm (2.5 Lb-In) — enough for a solid connection without stripping the nylon threads. Clamp and screw are steel; the contact is brass with a copper tin plating, which is fine for the current level and typical industrial atmosphere.
Ganging Multiple Blocks Together
The interlocking side feature lets you snap adjacent blocks together into a longer assembly. Each block is a single level with 6 positions.
