Eurostyle Terminal Strip, 4 Circuits
The TE Connectivity 1776302-4 is a 4-circuit Eurostyle terminal strip from the TSB1000 series, part of the Buchanan line. This enclosed barrier strip uses a 0.472" (12.00mm) pitch between terminals, giving each screw position enough physical spacing to handle the 40A current rating without creepage issues. Wire connections are made via top-entry screws with a zinc/non-hexavalent chromate finish on steel; the bottom termination is closed, meaning the strip mounts directly to a chassis or panel and the wiring exits through the open side. Accepts 10-22 AWG wire, so it covers both heavy power feeds (10 AWG) and lighter control wiring (22 AWG) on the same block.
40A at 250V — Power Distribution on a 12 mm Pitch
The 40A per-circuit rating puts this strip in the power distribution class — each screw terminal can carry bus-level current for a sub-panel, a heater load, or a motor branch circuit. The 250V voltage rating covers single-phase AC or DC control circuits up to that potential. The 12.00 mm pitch means the terminal spacing is wide enough to land 10 AWG stranded wire with a ring or fork terminal without crowding adjacent screws. The enclosed barrier design separates each circuit with a physical wall, reducing the chance of a stray conductor bridging two terminals during wiring or service.
Mounting and Wiring
The strip mounts to a chassis or panel using the mounting holes at each end — no DIN rail adapter, so plan for screw-down installation. The top termination uses screws; the closed bottom means the strip is not intended for pass-through wiring. Eight wire entries (two per circuit) allow daisy-chaining or dual-feed on the same terminal. The natural colour and polyamide insulation are standard for indoor industrial control panels; the UL94 V-2 rating is acceptable for most equipment enclosures, though some applications may specify V-0.
