4-Position Push-In Terminal Block for PCB Mount
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 1811444-1 is a 4-position, single-level terminal block designed for direct PCB mounting. It uses a screwless push-in spring termination — strip the wire, push it in, and the leg spring holds it without needing a tool.
7.00 mm Pitch, 2 A, 600 V — What the Ratings Mean
The 2 A per-circuit rating is modest; this is a signal-level or low-power control block, not a main power distribution terminal. The 600 V rating is the real headroom — at 7 mm pitch the creepage distance supports the full voltage, so you can use it in 277/480 V lighting circuits without derating for altitude or pollution degree 2. The push-in spring termination accepts 18 AWG solid or ferruled stranded wire. Unlike a screw clamp, there is no risk of cold flow loosening the connection over time — the spring maintains constant pressure. The kinked through-hole pins anchor the block during wave solder and resist the push-in force when you insert the wire.
