It uses a screwless push-in spring termination — strip the wire, push it in, the spring clamps it — no screwdriver needed. Rated 2 A per position at 600 V, it handles control-level signals and modest power on a PCB.
Wire Prep and Termination
Accepts 16 to 18 AWG solid or stranded wire. Strip to the length called out in the product drawing — the spring engages the bare conductor, not the insulation. The push-in mechanism is faster than a screw clamp and holds under vibration; no re-torquing after thermal cycling. The vertical mating orientation means the wire enters perpendicular to the PCB, saving board-edge space.
