Thread and Cable Fit – What to Match
The TE 182652-1 is a backshell cable clamp from the CPC series, shell size 23, designed to secure and strain-relieve the cable bundle at the rear of a CPC circular connector. The thread size is 1 3/8-18 UNEF, which mates directly with the corresponding thread on a CPC size 23 plug or receptacle backshell. The cable opening measures 0.703" (17.86 mm), so the maximum cable jacket or bundle diameter that can pass through is just under 18 mm — anything larger won't fit through the clamp. The clamp comes as a kit: 4 pieces total — 2 cable clamp halves and 2 screws. No extra hardware to chase down.
