What the Silver Plating Thickness Means
The 200.0µin (5.08µm) silver finish is well beyond the typical flash or thin-plate range. Silver provides lower bulk resistivity than tin, and the heavy layer resists wear and oxidation through repeated mating cycles at elevated current.
