Two-Position Power Header for High-Temperature Environments
Its contact layout is configured as 2 power circuits, making this a dedicated power delivery component rather than a signal header. The silver flash contact finish is standard for power contacts — high conductivity for the current path, though not rated for the high mating-cycle counts that gold plating supports.
Board Lock and Mounting
The board lock is a pair of retention features that press into plated through-holes on the PCB. For a power header that will see cable strain, this is the difference between a reliable joint and a lifted pad after a few mate-unmate cycles.
Mating and Compatibility
The male blade contacts are sized for the power-class receptacle terminals that accept 10-14 AWG wire, typical for DC distribution and battery interconnect harnesses. The 2-position layout is keyed by the housing geometry — no risk of mis-mating with a different circuit-count receptacle from the same series.
