The 1986300-4 is a 4-position plug with female sockets from the TE Connectivity terminal block family, pitched at 0.197" (5.00 mm) — a common spacing for control cabinet and junction box wiring. Rated 16 A at 300 V (UL), it handles typical 24 VDC or 120 VAC signal and moderate power circuits without derating down to 14 AWG. The green housing is PA66 (UL94 V-0), and the screw - pressure clip termination accepts 14-24 AWG (0.2-2 mm²) with a 10 mm strip length.
Straight entry, retention latches
Plug wire entry is 180° (straight), making this a straight plug for inline cable routing. Retention latches on the non-wire side lock the plug into the mating header, preventing accidental disconnection under vibration. Torque specification for the screw clamp is 0.51 Nm (4.5 Lb-In) — use a calibrated driver to avoid stripping the PA66 threads.
