Wire Termination and Field Wiring
The 1986692-2 uses a screwless leg spring, push-in spring termination — strip the wire, push it into the clamp, and the spring holds it without a tool. Accepts 14-30 AWG or 0.05-2 mm² conductor. Rated 9 A at 300 V per UL, the plug handles signal-level and moderate-power circuits common in PLC I/O, sensor loops, and control panel wiring.
Side Stacking for Multi-Position Assemblies
The side stacking feature lets you interlock multiple 2-position plugs to create a wider block without a separate part number. Each module mates with a corresponding male header on the board.

Operating temperature from -40°C to 110°C covers outdoor cabinets and unheated industrial spaces.
Free hanging (in-line) mounting with 180° plug wire entry — the wire enters straight into the plug, not at an angle, simplifying routing in tight enclosures.
