6-Position Push-In Plug for 3.81mm Terminal Blocks
The 1986722-6: This is a 6-position plug with female sockets from TE's terminal block header family, pitched at 0.150" (3.81mm). It terminates wires via a screwless leg spring – push the stripped conductor in and the spring clamps it, no screwdriver needed. The 180° wire entry keeps the cable path straight, which helps when you're stacking multiple plugs side-by-side using the side-stacking feature. Rated 9 A per circuit at 300 V with a 14-30 AWG wire range (0.05-2 mm²), it handles typical control, sensor, and low-power distribution circuits inside an enclosure.
Screwless Termination and Wire Range
The push-in spring accepts solid or ferruled stranded wire from 14 AWG down to 30 AWG – the spring grabs the conductor and holds it without a clamp screw. For a 6-position plug in a panel, that means you can land all six wires in the time it takes to torque one screw terminal.
