9-circuit barrier block, 0.375" pitch — 25 A at 300 V
The TE Connectivity 2-1437653-8 is a 9-circuit barrier strip from the #6 Buchanan series, a workhorse terminal block family for panel and equipment wiring. The 0.375" (9.53 mm) pitch gives enough spacing between terminals to land 12-22 AWG wire comfortably under the screw clamp without crowding adjacent conductors.
Termination and mounting — screw clamp top, PC pin bottom
Top termination is screws — steel, stainless — clamping the stripped wire against the current-carrying bar. Bottom termination is PC pins, through-hole mount, soldered into the PCB. The 3 Wall (Tri) barrier between each circuit isolates adjacent terminals, reducing the chance of a stray strand bridging two positions during wiring or under vibration. Nine wire entries match the nine circuits: one wire per position, no daisy-chaining through the block.
Construction and approvals
ROHS3 compliant. The black colour is the standard moulding for the #6 Buchanan series — no colour-coding option on this variant.
