It carries a 16 A current rating at 400 V and accepts wire from 12 AWG down to 22 AWG — a power-grade block suited for distribution panels, control cabinets, and industrial equipment where a fused disconnect is needed at the termination point. The 0.394" (10.00 mm) pitch gives generous spacing between circuits for the 400 V working voltage, keeping creepage and clearance comfortable for a 3-circuit block. The enclosed barrier design — a polyamide (PA66) housing — adds physical isolation between terminals, which matters when the strip lives inside an enclosure where accidental tool contact is a risk.

Top termination is screw-clamp, with steel screws finished in zinc with non-hexavalent chromate — standard for industrial terminal blocks where corrosion resistance on the screw matters. The bottom termination is closed (no through-hole), which means the wire enters from the top only and terminates inside the enclosed barrier. Temperature and Material Limits
Rated for -35°C to 100°C operating temperature — the PA66 insulation handles the upper end without softening, and the lower end is fine for unheated industrial cabinets. The 16 A rating is at the block level; derate above 100°C per the manufacturer's curve, but for most panel applications inside a 40-50°C cabinet, the full 16 A per circuit is usable.
