3-Position IDC Receptacle for Discrete Wire Harnesses
This connector is intended for low-cost, mass-termination wire-to-wire or wire-to-board harnesses where the IDC method eliminates the need for individual crimp contacts and tooling.
IDC Termination and Wire Prep
No stripping or crimping is needed, which speeds up harness assembly. The termination is permanent — the wire is not intended for removal once inserted. The free-hanging housing allows the connector to be used as a plug for a board-mounted header or as an inline splice. Build-to-print shops should note that the mating half is a CT-series pin header with a matching 2.00mm pitch and 3 positions.
