Unlike multi-position ribbon-cable IDC headers, this part handles one wire at a time — the Feed Through feature lets the wire pass straight through the connector body, useful for daisy-chain wiring or pass-through signal routing where a single tap is needed off a continuous wire. Right-Angle Board Layout Fit
With through-hole, right-angle mounting, the 2-2106751-1 places the wire entry parallel to the PCB surface. The single row and single position mean the footprint is minimal: one set of through-hole pads and the IDC slot. For a 22 AWG solid or stranded wire, the IDC slot pierces the insulation on insertion, making gas-tight contact without stripping or crimping.
