What This Connector Does on the Board
Why the 2-Position Count and Feed-Through Matter
Two positions means this is a point-to-point or daisy-chain link — not a multi-signal bus connector. The feed-through feature lets the IDC contact pass the wire through the connector body, so you can terminate a continuous 22 AWG wire at this point without cutting and splicing. On a panel or conveyor sensor string, that saves a junction box and a failure point. For high-vibration or frequent reconnect duty, a gold-plated sibling would be the better bet, but this part is not that.
